Wesnoth Work

Maintainer:

  • A Rough Life – I discovered this little gem through a random download from the add-on server, and fell in love with it’s dialogue and story. (So well written!)  I asked for permission to maintain it, and have addressed several bugs/gameplay issues, but am currently struggling with several of the harder mistakes.  I am no coder, but I am using this project to motivate me to learn more of WML.
  • Conquest of a Dark Queen – Originally solely Mica’s work, he asked me to be a maintainer after I helped with some fixes during his absence.  I had already written the dialogue/story for him, so there was no problem stepping up to help out.  Currently stopped I believe though, as his interest bounces around and he has been on sporadically.

Dialogue:

  •  Count Kromire – An interesting campaign by Velensk, I throughly enjoyed it.  I liked the idea behind the story and the use of the Era of Myths, though often times the original dialogue seemed to fall on its face.  I offered my services, and effectively reworded all of the dialogue.
  • A New Order – I started work on this after Rhishisikk put out that he was swamped by code, and needed others to work on the rest of the issues in the campaign.  Starting out initially as a playtester, the horrendous dialogue made me opt to work on that instead.  Some of it ended up being rewritten and inserted, but given the size of the task at hand, we have effectively settled for leaving it as it is, and moving on to make a properly written sequel.
  • Crawling Horror – …Interesting campaign by Woodmouse.  Nothing too spectacular, but not a bad play, though it is broken about halfway through.  I wrote all of the dialogue and story, just to have him abandon the campaign/disappear from the forums.
